Brandi's First Mother's Day - May 13, 2007

May 13, 2007 brought about Brandi's first Mother's Day. She has been a mother for 10 months now, the baby is due in the next week. We went out to a great Mexican restaurant called Cha-Cha's. They had a Mother's Day Brunch that included authentic dishes from around Mexico. The chef explained what they were, and where they came from. And we got to eat it all! It was a lot of fun, and a great way to spend her first Mother's Day.

The Garage Sale

When you are having a baby, it becomes very clear that you do not have room for your stuff and all the new baby stuff! So on May 12, 2007 we did what we knew we had to. Threw everything we didn't need on the front lawn and invited the neighbors to come take what they wanted. This was our very first garage sale, and I dont know if we will do it again for a while! But we had a good turn out. Made some money, and got rid of a bunch of junk we did not need.
